Myra van de Korput, the hat designer from Barendrecht is celebrating a double anniversary. After 20 years working in health care (in the surgery department), now 20 years working as a hat designer and in the year 2020! For this anniversary, she wants to draw attention to Pink Ribbon, as more and more friends and acquaintances are facing breast cancer. For this purpose, she specially designed the hat “Pretty in Pink.” This is also how she combines her former profession with her current profession as a designer. During the month of October, International Breast Cancer Awareness Month, 20% of the sales of this hat will go to Pink Ribbon. In this way, she hopes to make a small contribution and support breast cancer research. (The handmade hat costs €250 and is available in other colors if desired).
